Blessed Virgin Mary

The Blessed Virgin Mary holds a unique and exalted place in the Catholic faith as the Immaculate Mother of God, preserved from original sin from the first moment of her conception. Born according to tradition to Saints Joachim and Anne, she devoted her life entirely to God, becoming the ever-virgin Mother of Jesus Christ and the faithful spouse of St. Joseph. From the humble home of Nazareth to the foot of the Cross at Calvary, Mary demonstrated extraordinary humility, purity, obedience, charity, and unwavering trust in God’s providence. At the completion of her earthly life, she was assumed body and soul into Heaven, where she reigns as Queen of Heaven and intercedes for her spiritual children. Through devotion to the Holy Rosary, imitation of her virtues, and confidence in her maternal intercession, Catholic families can draw closer to her Divine Son, Jesus Christ.
