About Us

Building holy homes. Forming faithful heart

Church in Miniature was created to help families, live the Catholic faith at home, every day in every moment

Who Do We Serve

Who We Serve

We serve Catholics, especially those who are new or still exploring and learning the basics about the Catholic Faith. We walk alongside Catholic families who desire to grow deeper in their faith and pass it on to their children.

why were we founded

Why We Were Founded

We were founded out of a deep desire to see families re-discover and live the beauty of the Catholic faith and bring it into their homes. The world is pulling souls away and our mission is to help bring them back to Christ.

Our Mission

Our Mission

Our mission is to help individuals and families understand their faith, value it, grow in it, and respond to the true call of being Catholic. We inspire and equip you to live the Faith well beyond Sunday Mass.

Our Vision

Our Vision

Our vision is a world of purity, holiness, and truth; a world that recognizes the value of our Creator and lives in trust in His divine plan for the salvation of our souls and the souls of others.

We must be willing to live the faith in every moment, to recognize the temptations of the flesh, the world and the devil. The devils greatest lie, is making people believe he does not exist

We are called to build a Church in Miniature, a home where Christ is King

Church in Miniature is the passion project of Christopher Perlin, a husband, father of five, and devout Catholic. Over the last 12 years his faith has grown and he is eager to help people and families build strong foundations of faith in their homes and live as disciples of Christ in today’s world.

Why We Exist

We live in a world that moves faster than ever before. Every day we are surrounded by messages telling us what success looks like, what happiness requires, and what should occupy our time and attention. Slowly and often without realizing it, many of us can find ourselves building our lives around work, entertainment, possessions, and the demands of the world while our faith becomes something we fit in when we have time.

For many Catholics, faith begins and ends with Sunday Mass. We attend church, receive the Eucharist, and leave with the intention of living our faith throughout the week. Yet as the days pass, the distractions of the world begin to take over. The influence of the world, the temptations of the flesh, and the constant attacks of the devil seek to pull us away from Christ and the life we are called to live.

The challenge is not simply making time for God.

The challenge is building a life centered around Him.

This is the heart of Church in Miniature.

A church is not simply a building we enter once a week. It is a place where we encounter Christ, grow in holiness, receive grace, and are transformed. Our homes, families, and daily lives should become an extension of that same mission.

A Church in Miniature is a home and a life intentionally shaped around Christ. It is creating an environment where faith is not an addition to our lives, but the foundation of them.

This means more than attending Mass on Sunday. It means creating daily habits that draw us closer to God:

  • Building a life of prayer and conversation with Christ
  • Growing in virtue and striving to reflect the character of Jesus
  • Receiving and understanding the grace of the sacraments
  • Reading Scripture and spiritual works that deepen our faith
  • Teaching our families to know, love, and serve God
  • Surrounding ourselves with reminders of our true purpose and eternal destination

We become what we surround ourselves with. If we surround ourselves with the distractions of the world, our hearts will naturally be drawn toward the things of the world. But when we intentionally surround ourselves with Christ, our faith begins to shape every decision, relationship, and aspect of our lives.

Church in Miniature exists to help restore a living Catholic faith in a society that increasingly pushes God to the margins. It is a place for those who are searching, those returning to the faith, those who desire to grow deeper, and families who want to make Christ the center of their homes.

The goal is not simply to visit the Church once a week.

The goal is to bring the Church home.

To create homes where Christ is welcomed, faith is lived, virtues are practiced, and families help one another on the journey toward heaven.

Because when Christ is at the center of our homes, our homes become a small reflection of His Church.

“As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” Joshua 22:15
